Comment:

 This is very strange... This was working on linux for a *long* time.
 Are you sure the linux setup is correct? Is it 64-bit setup or 32 bit?
 (Probably 32, I think that's what Parallels provides.) Is the compiler and
 all of it's pieces are properly installed?
 Unfortunately I can;t reproduce the problem :-(
