Dear all:
At the annual meeting of INFORMS in San Jose (Nov 2002),  Leo Lopes led a
discussion meeting of people interested in creating a standard for the
exchange of math programs.  Below is a list of action items coming out of
the meeting, and a list of attendees.

1.  Find out under what licenses the Xerces (http://xml.apache.org/) is

2. Define external file representation of stochastic problem data (Leo
Lopes, Alan King, Bjarni Kristjansson)
3. Define requirements on OSI (data structures issue)  (Leo Lopes, Alan

4. Define specs for function "readXML" and cash in on John Forrest's offer
to implement  (Leo Lopes,  Alan King, Matt Saltzman)
5. Send Robin a pointer to the site where XML code is being published on
Maximal so it can be posted on COIN-OR (Bjarni Kristjansson)

6. Post a strawman wish-list attributes for representation of IP  to

7. Post announcement of XML educational workshop  at the ICS Phoenix
