I would like to announce the addition of a new project to COIN-OR. The package "CLP Spreadsheet Solver" (<a href="https://github.com/coin-or/clp-spreadsheet-solver" id="LPlnk497392">https://github.com/coin-or/clp-spreadsheet-solver</a>) is designed to solve

 and visualise Container Loading Problems, also known as 3D Bin Packing Problems.</div>

The package contains a macro enabled Microsoft Excel workbook that contains the solution algorithm. The algorithm and visualisation functions are implemented in VBA. The details of the solution algorithm are provided in this open-access paper:
