
<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Dear CMPL users,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Due to the extended requirements for the installation of applications on macOS Sierra I would like to explain how you can install Cmpl 1.11.1 on macOS Sierra. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">1) You have to download the ZIP file for your operating system and to unzip it. Copy or move the extracted Cmpl folder to the folder of your choice (e.g. <i class="">~/Documents/Cmpl</i> or <i class="">/Applications/Cmpl </i>)<br class=""><div class="">2) Please open the terminal app:<i class=""> Launchpad > Terminal</i><br class=""></div><div class="">3) Execute the following command: <i class="">sudo spctl --master-disable</i>. This disables Apple's Gatekeeper and allows Cmpl to run. You can enable Gatekeeper again with s<i class="">udo spctl --master-enable.</i><br class=""></div><div class="">4) Go to the parent folder in which you installed Cmpl. (e.g. <i class="">cd ~/Documents</i> or <i class="">cd /Applications</i>).<br class=""></div><div class="">5) Execute the following command: <i class="">xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine Cmpl</i>.</div><div class="">6) It is strongly recommended to deinstall older versions!</div><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I know this procedure is quite complicated, but is only a workaround for the moment. We are working on a new release that allows to install Cmpl on this operating system as easily as before.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Thanks,</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Mike</div></body></html>
