<p class="MsoNormal">I am trying to port a small roll assortment problem from GMPL to CMPL. I am modelling it as an assignment problem for now.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have a set of PRODUCTS with widths as defined in the parameter pWidth, and a set of parent ROLLS with width rWidth. My set Rp is an indexed set of parent rolls that can be used to produce product p.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Here’s what I use in GMPL:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">set Rp{p in PRODUCTS} := {r in ROLLS : pWidth[p] <= rWidth[r]};<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">so Rp[p] will contain all the parent rolls that are wider than the width of product p.<o:p></o:p></p>
