Comment:

 clean worked only on the file defined by DRIVER.  Now a make clean deletes
 all possibly generated files.  The fix for Cbc.  This was not an issue
 with automake, since the example Makefiles are not generate by automake,
 but are handwritten templates (so that users can actually read and
 understand them).
