 I am not sure why my blas lib was not working, but it is now.  The other
 problems were fixed by installing MPICH2.  For some reason I noticed that
 CXX was set to mpicxx in config.status.  I had not installed mpich, so I
 am not sure why it was set this way.  I noticed something similar when I
 tried to configure/build Bonmin on my windows (cygwin) machine as well.
 In the windows case I tried to fix it by linking mpicxx to g++, which
 helped but didn't fix the problem.

 Any ideas why this might be happening.  It seems that this is happening
 somewhere within the Ipopt configure script.
